Helping the environment in The Netherlands
As part of becoming climate neutral last year, PwC Netherlands introduced a new car leasing scheme aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. Staff could lower their payment rates based on selecting a fuel efficient car and driving in a more fuel efficient manner. As a result of the programme, cars leased by partners and staff were nearly 4 percent more fuel efficient than the previous year. Actual fuel consumption also fell by 8.1 percent indicating that PwC people are changing their driving behaviour.
