Key findings
- The industry reported continued helathy growth in revenues and operating profits during 2005.
- Prime contractors and their Tier 1 partners are returning solid profits, whilst not all Tier 2 and 3 suppliers are turning increased sales into higher earnings.
- Better performers have shown their ability to sustain margins over the period
- Private equity is still strong in the sector
