To compile these reports, we conducted extensive desk research and commissioned surveys of thought leaders the world over. Those surveyed included a mix of government officials, policy makers, and top executives of hospital systems, employers, physician groups, other providers, insurers, and medical supply manufacturers.
The HealthCast series reports, which are updated every three years, are focused on the United States, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia.

HealthCast 2010: Smaller world, bigger expectations
Our survey group included a mix of policy makers, health system executives, employers, physicians, insurers and medical supply vendors. In addition, PwC practice leaders interviewed more than 50 thought leaders from seven countries at length about future trends and their implications for the industry's stakeholders.
