02 March 2023 - Within the framework of partnership with Women Empowerment Principles (#WEPs), Nino Kadagishvili, PwC Armenia’s Director and Alla Hakhnazaryan, Lead of PwC Armenia’s Legal practice, participated in the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event organized by United Nations Development Programme in cooperation with Armenia Securities Exchange.
The event was a part of a bell-ringing ceremony hosted by Stock Exchanges worldwide to highlight the private sector’s significant role in promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality and women empowerment.
It was a unique opportunity for Armenian and Georgian entrepreneurs to exchange their experience and insights on fostering business practices that advance women in the workplace, marketplace and community, as well as sign a joint declaration on Women Empowerment Principles along with 13 Armenian private sector companies.
As a signatory member of Women Empowerment Principles (#WEPs) since February 2023, PwC Armenia is delighted to be a supporter of women and girls in their efforts to make societies a better place for them.
