Ana Lopes

Ana Lopes is an Assurance Partner at PwC Angola and a member of the PwC Technical Committee.

Ana has 30 years of experience auditing domestic and international companies reporting under IFRS or Portuguese GAAP. She has worked in Portugal and the UK.

Ana is acting as Lead Audit Engagement Partner on several legal entities, including listed entities in the Portuguese Stock Market, and is working closely with teams from Spain, Germany, France, US, Switzerland, Sweden and other geographies on global audit engagements. Her client base includes industries such as oil & gas, pharma, manufacturing, automotive and services. She is also responsible for the Pharmaceutical Sector in the Assurance Practice in Portugal.

Ana is the Territory Assurance Leader for Portugal since 2015.

As Assurance Leader for Portugal, Ana has also extensive experience of dealing with the Portuguese regulator, CMVM, as well as the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors. 

Client portfolio includes several multinationals that operate under IFRS GAAP and US GAAP and some Portuguese entities that have recently implemented IFRS, such us Philip Morris (Tabaqueira), Lunding Mining

(Somincor), Fundação Champalimaud, Vinci Group, Air Liquide Group, Novartis, Merck Sharp & Dohme and Wamos Group.

Ana is a State-recognised Statutory Auditor (“Revisora Oficial de Contas”), Certified Public Accountant (“Contabilista Certificada”) and Member of the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors.
