Angola - Labor Process Code

In brief

It was published the Law 2/24, of 19 March 19, which approves the Labor Procedure Code.

This Code applies to all individual labor conflicts that result from the establishment, maintenance, modification, suspension or termination of the legal-labor relationship, to appeals in disciplinary matters, to issues arising from work accidents and occupational illnesses, to conflicts collective labor, which arise within the scope of the right to strike and collective labor conventions or agreements, transgressions resulting from violations of labor standards on social security, appeals against decisions of the General Labor Inspectorate and the enforcement of fines imposed by it.

The Law enters into force 30 days after the date of its publication.
