Shirlyne Alexander

Shirlyne is an Assurance Partner in the Barbados firm and has significant experience in a wide cross section of industries with specialisation in insurance. Her client portfolio includes the largest life and general insurance companies within the Caribbean.

She led and advised on audits of both public and private entities for the past 18 years.  Shirlyne provides inspirational leadership and quality audits with successful wins in transitioning clients with new accounting standards, which promoted the firm’s values to all stakeholders. 

Shirlyne is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB), with a BSc Accounting & Management (Upper Second Class Honors). 

Shirlyne is a member of Soroptimist International of Barbados (SIB), which is a service club for women. The club encourages service to the community, fosters goodwill and friendship nationally and internationally, and has representation on United Nations agencies. SIB is involved in and coordinates many community-based projects, and also adopts projects for study and action within the Caribbean region and internationally.
