Damian Cooper

Damian is an experienced audit partner focussed on the reinsurance industry, including the life reinsurance sector. Damian also leads our capital markets, accounting and regulatory advisory practice within Bermuda. 

Damian has firsthand experience in successfully transitioning the audit of an SEC-registered insurance group. He has led the audit of a number of reinsurance companies in Bermuda and the UK, including ILS and other third party capital operations. 

He is known for assisting clients with timely, pragmatic solutions to technical problems as well as upfront management and coordination of complex group reporting operations. 

As a Bermudian, Damian is especially passionate about educating and developing the next generation of Bermudian professionals through his leadership of PwC’s Headstart programme and sponsorship and in mentoring of students in conjunction with ABIC. Damian is also a keen amateur chef and is working on sharing his love of food with his children.
