David Gibbons

David Gibbons, captive insurance leader at PwC Bermuda, oversees the firm’s dedicated captive insurance group, With more than 17 years of experience in the insurance industry in Barbados and Bermuda, he has responsibility for the management and delivery of the firm’s assurance and advisory services to a large portfolio of captive insurance clients in the property and casualty and life insurance sectors.

In addition to his extensive statutory audit experience, David provides captive-focussed internal audit services to certain clients. His captive insurance and reinsurance clients range from single-parent captives with relatively straightforward programs to group captives with extensive and complex insurance programs. David is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda, Institute of the Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados.
