Scott Slater

Scott Slater is a partner at PwC Bermuda and leads PwC in the Caribbean’s International Tax Services group based in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. 

With over 17 years of industry experience, Scott heads a team of approximately 35 tax specialists focused on assisting captive insurance companies, international re/insurance companies, and hedge and private equity investment funds with their US and international tax accounting, planning, investor reporting, and compliance matters.

Scott is known for being an insurance and asset management tax expert in the Bermuda market, and a thought leader on international tax matters. He has specific experience across all facets of Bermuda reinsurers and particularly in the niche ILS market.

Scott is the father of two children. He is heavily involved in PwC’s Corporate Responsibility events and is a regular blood apheresis donor at KEMH. 

Scott holds Bachelor of Science (Accountancy) and Master of Science (Taxation) degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and CPA Bermuda.
