Andreas Botsikas

Andreas is the Director of AI of PwC Greece, with extensive experience in the technology field . His journey started during his PhD, focusing on AI optimization. As a software engineer lead, he contributed to the birth of IoT through EU-funded research and led multiple engineering projects on behalf of the university. He then joined Microsoft, digitally transforming the Greek finance sector by modernizing their web and mobile banking platforms. Later, as an Architect in the worldwide CTO office, he guided the Data & AI domain, collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality big data and AI-based solutions to S500 clients. He then established the worldwide AI practice in FastTrack for the Azure team, leading world-class engineers.
