Angelos Benos

Angelos specialises in International Tax and has extensive expertise across industries gained mainly in the UK, the CIS region and Greece.  Angelos started his career with PwC Greece in 2003 before departing for a long (15 years) and successful international career. Prior to re-joining our team in Athens in September 2019, he spent 6,5 years as a Tax Partner with another Big4 firm based in London (including 2 two year assignment in Russia). Angelos is our Pharma & Healthcare industry lead and is also our PwC #nofrills offering lead focusing on StartUps and innovative businesses.

Since the beginning of his career Angelos has been advising multinational companies with the most complex agendas. He has led a number of substantial multi-jurisdictional projects focusing on design & implementation of business restructurings, tax due-diligence, cross-border tax planning and tax audit defense. He has been involved in some very high profile IP migration and business transformation projects in support of his clients investment and re-organisation decisions.  

Angelos' global clientele includes a long list of Pharmaceutical Companies, Consumer Businesses, Media conglomerates and Telecoms. 

Angelos holds a BSc in Accounting and an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
