Vassilis Vizas

Vassilis is the PwC Greece Tax and Legal Services Leader, and the Managing Partner of "Vizas - Katrinakis and Associates Law Firm”. He is a lawyer admitted to the Athens Bar in 1998 and has over 20 years of experience in Tax M&A, tax structuring advice and Corporate Law matters. He joined the Greek firm in 2002 after working for Arthur Andersen and Elias Paraskevas Law Firm.

Vassilis has built significant experience in advising on M&A projects from a tax and legal structuring and due diligence perspective. His clients include banks, private equity funds, but also Greek public and family-owned companies across several sectors, with emphasis on Financial Services, Real Estate, Tourism, Energy and Infrastructure.

He has issued a number of publications in Greek legal and tax magazines, including a book called “The GAAR in Greek Law – Scope and Limitations”, published in January 2017. Vassilis holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Athens and an LLM from the University of London.
