PwC Greece receives Gold Award for blood donation programme co-organised with the social startup Bloode during the Responsible Business Awards 2016 ceremony, organised by Boussias Communications, on October 18.
This cooperation is part of PwC's Corporate Responsibility programme which focuses on supporting young entrepreneurs and collaborating with social startups in an initiative for the common good.
Bloode is a social startup that PwC met within the framework of its support to Orange Grove – whose mission is to help young entrepreneurs set up sustainable businesses.
Bloode is the first online platform to promote and systematise the process of donating blood in Greece.
PwC is the first firm in Greece that took the initiative and approached us. This is important for us, not only because we're honoured by the trust of a global leader, but also because PwC partners and employees share their knowledge and valuable experience with us.
