In-house humanitarian Bazaars
We at PwC Greece have a tradition to organise Christmas and Easter charity fundraising bazaars in our offices in Athens and Thessaloniki. During the last three years we organised 12 bazaars in which 15 NGOs and social startups have participated. All funds raised are used to support people in need as well as environmental activities.
Our people enthusiastically support our bazaars both as volunteers and as customers. Specifically, our Partners and employees, together with their families, actively volunteer in all stages of these events, from logistics to helping NGOs in sales. We also have a bake sale corner with homemade delicacies and craft contributions from our people. The bake sale funds go to purchase food for people in need through the NGO Boroume.
December 2018: Xmas Bazaar
Our Christmas Bazaar was a great success! This year we hosted 8 NGOs and social enterprises, whereby 36 volunteers helped with the sales of their christmas items. Also, 28 volunteers contributed to our Bake Sale, the proceeds of which went to ELIZA Society for the Prevention of Abuse to Children.
March 2018: Easter Bazaar
Another successful Easter Bazaar at PwC Greece. Money raised for NGOs and social startups. Bake Sale proceeds will fund special needs education of young orphan girls.
