Why aren’t there more women in technology? How can one make a career pivot from business to tech? What about AI bias? These are only a few of the numerous questions which are being answered through the podcast series Women On Topic | Tech Talks by Women On Top powered by PwC Greece.
By joining Women On Top's already existing podcast series, Women On Topic, we are igniting open discussions to inform, inspire and empower women and girls to consider a career in technology.
Each month, PwC Greece’s female technologists from various fields, such as cyber security, AI, data and analytics, tech consulting and more, as well as some male colleagues in tech, chat with the co-founders of Women On Top, Stella Kadagli and Pinelopi Theodorakakou, about their personal experiences, challenges and perspectives during their own tech career journey.
We are leveraging this platform to remind all aspiring women and girls that as a woman in technology, you’re not only choosing a path full of bright opportunities for years ahead, you’re helping lead the way for many girls and women to do the same and more, faster and easier.
At PwC, we are committed to achieving tech equity in our firm and empowering our women professionally and personally to help drive real change. Our mission is for women to be equal participants in creating and developing the new tech businesses, products and services that shape our world.
Women are underrepresented in the tech industry and part of our challenge is changing the perception of what a career in tech offers. We believe that increasing the number of women in tech will add essential diversity to the sector and help inspire the next generation. Tech is changing the world and we need to help cultivate an inclusive tech world where all women have a role to play.
On the first episode of Tech Talks, Dimitra Xintara, Senior Manager, Cyber Security and Privacy, PwC Greece, and Harry Tsavdaris, Managing Director, Enterprise Digital, PwC Greece engage in a discussion with Pinelopi Theodorakakou, co-founder of Women On Top, exploring how the tech industry is actively challenging stereotypes, fostering an inclusive environment for all professionals, while the conversation also highlights the integral role men play in championing gender equality.
