ALM identifies PwC as a Pacesetter in this new Law.com Compass Pacesetter Research report on Workplace Strategy 2024. The Workplace Strategy report explores how the most innovative professional services providers in 2024 are helping clients understand, develop, and properly manage their workplace strategy – and how innovative providers are developing their own workplace strategy aligned to meet their organizational goals
The Pacesetter Research says that, “The disruption to work caused by geopolitical and economic volatility, social crises, and the pandemic has evolved workplace strategy into a strategic, comprehensive framework that describes an organization's workforce structure - a hybrid, remote, or in-office approach to optimize the work environment to support business goals.”
According to the report, “For PwC, workplace strategy is a completely integrated comprehensive approach grounded in workforce transformation, where the focus is on a reimagined employee
experience that invites, empowers, and inspires to drive long term business value.”
It goes on to say that, “The firm recognizes that putting people at the center is fundamental to developing an effective workplace strategy and has developed a four-dimensional, comprehensive, integrated approach to its Employee Experience Transformation services: meaningful work, inclusive culture, holistic support, and adaptive ecosystem. The firm's adaptive ecosystem focuses on integrating technology, workspace, and workplace experiences to create a human-centered environment (physical and virtual) that is purposeful and safe while helping clients rationalize real estate spend and technology investments.”
Per ALM, “PwC has developed a suite of solutions that specifically support clients in creating an effective workplace strategy, beginning with understanding employee personas to better understand which hybrid, remote, in-office approach is best suited for a group of employees. Among its solutions is PwC’s Location Strategy tool, which uses data to benchmark key categories (e.g., demographics, cost of living, competition, workforce supply, compensation, etc.), providing a more holistic approach to location decision-making for future real estate needs.”
Peter Brown, Global Workforce Leader, Partner, PwC United Kingdom, added: “This recognition - which puts PwC as a world leading consultant for workplace strategy - is testament to the work we are doing to help clients develop agile, flexible, and comprehensive workplace strategies. Strategies that consider the changes in the way people are working - and want to work - to deliver long-term business impact.
“As part of this we are committed to transforming our own employee experience with a three-year plan to create a workplace environment where there is an increased emphasis on growth and development, rewards and benefits are customised, well-being is integrated into daily work experiences and offers an increased sense of flexibility.”
