London, 22 June 2020: Jim Bichard has been appointed Global Insurance Leader for PwC, he will assume the new role on 1 July 2020, the start of PwC’s new fiscal year, succeeding Stephen O’Hearn who is retiring after 38 years in the Firm.
Jim has worked in the insurance sector throughout his 23 years at PwC. He most recently led our UK Insurance practice with responsibility for all PwC's services to insurance clients across every industry segment, including leadership of our Consulting business. Jim has worked primarily in the London and New York offices, serving re/insurance clients ranging from global groups to start ups. He has supported clients on a wide range of projects including risk and regulatory, governance, deals, restructuring and assurance. Jim has also held a range of leadership roles across the UK and EMEA including PwC’s London Market and Broking practice, as well as our Solvency II and regulatory team.
