1 July 2022 – Petra Justenhoven has been elected Chairwoman and Senior Partner of PwC Europe and Territory Senior Partner (TSP) of PwC Germany, effective 1 July 2022. Petra has also been appointed to the PwC network leadership team (NLT). As a member of the NLT, she will help set overall strategy for the PwC network and the standards to which member firms agree to adhere.
Petra, who is based in Munich, brings almost 30 years of professional experience at PwC to her new role, including more than 25 years of auditing and advising multinational clients across a range of industries. For the last seven years, Petra has served as the Assurance Leader for PwC Germany and Europe and became a member of the European Board in 2016 and the German Executive Board in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, she served as the Markets & Industries Leader for PwC Germany.

Petra succeeds Harald Kayser, who completed his four-year term as Chairman of PwC Europe on 30 June 2022. Harald has been with PwC since 1992 and Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC Europe since 1 July 2018. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer of PwC Europe and PwC Germany and as Chief Digital Officer of PwC Germany.
