LONDON, 26 January 2023 – PwC has appointed William Morris to be the Global Tax Policy Leader from 1 July 2023. Will has been a member of PwC’s Global Tax Policy team for the past six years, most recently as PwC’s Deputy Global Tax Policy Leader. Will replaces Stef van Weeghel who will be retiring at the end of June 2023.

In his prior role, Will advised companies how best to navigate today’s ever-evolving international business landscape. Prior to joining PwC, Will spent 17 years at General Electric directing GE’s Global Tax Policy Program. From 1995 to 1997, Will worked at the IRS, and from 1997 to 2000 worked in the Office of Tax Policy at the United States Department of the Treasury. He has also been closely involved with the OECD BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) and Digital Tax projects as chair of the Business at OECD (BIAC) Tax Committee from 2012 to 2022.
