The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) marks a significant change in sustainability reporting. It requires companies to disclose their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance in their annual reports in a detailed, standardised way, based on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). To achieve this goal, companies need to provide relevant, comparable and reliable information on their sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities.
The timeframe for achieving CSRD compliance is short, as the rules come into effect in the 2024 financial year.

Our new “ESG Reporting Manager – CSRD” tool enables clients to achieve automated CSRD compliance quickly using their existing SAP applications – regardless of where they are in their sustainability reporting journey, and whether the SAP solutions run on-premise or in the cloud.
Beyond the immediate compliance need, our solution empowers clients to strengthen, accelerate and firmly embed their sustainability strategies. For example, it enables companies to gain insights that can help them decarbonize, reduce fuel consumption, cut costs, strengthen their ESG value propositions and make product designs more sustainable.
By taking reporting beyond compliance and integrating sustainability into the broader business strategy, companies can drive profit and purpose, protect their reputations and boost long-term growth.
