PwC Hungary is proud to announce the appointment of three new partners. Anita Mekler (43) will lead the transfer pricing practice, Antal Kerekes (41) will be in charge of the technology advisory group, while László Radványi (36) will bolster PwC Hungary’s Assurance service line.
Anita Mekler
Ms. Mekler is an economist and started her career in 1998 in the tax department of PwC Hungary. She has gained not only local but extensive international tax experience, as she worked abroad for several years. Early in her career, she spent two years at PwC Zagreb, where she was mainly involved in M&A projects. Later she was seconded to the USA, where she worked on international transfer pricing projects at PwC’s New York office. She also participated in PwC’s global leadership development programme in Boston. She has extensive experience in the automotive industry: she spent two years at Nissan Sales Central & Eastern Europe Kft. as the company’s regional tax manager responsible for Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. She will lead the Hungarian firm’s transfer pricing practice as well as the automotive group in PwC Hungary’s tax department.
Antal Kerekes
Mr. Kerekes joined PwC Hungary in 2011. He started his career implementing ERP systems, then he moved on to management consulting in 2000. He has been a Certified Management Consultant since 2008. He specialises in IT strategy, service and application management, and IT controlling. In addition, he has experience in process management, strategy and enterprise performance management. Antal has several years of experience in strategy, IT governance, controlling and process management. He has worked for the largest Hungarian companies and organisations in the energy sector, banks, manufacturing and transport companies, as well as the public sector. PwC Hungary’s new partner will lead the technology advisory and enterprise performance management functions. He will also have a regional role as head of IT project lifecycle management. Beside his professional duties, Antal is a passionate tennis player and father of three children.
László Radványi
Mr. Radványi joined PwC Hungary in 2003. He is an internationally qualified auditor. He has participated in the audit of many Hungarian- and foreign-owned companies operating in the energy, real estate, manufacturing, retail and public sectors. Furthermore, he has also participated in several acquisition and transformation-related engagements. László plays an active role in the business and sports life of the city of Győr, where he has led several important projects for the local industrial and public sectors. He is an active supporter of Győri Audi ETO KC’s Champions League-winner women’s handball team. In addition to his professional activities, László is one of the leaders of PwC Hungary’s Corporate Responsibility Group. He will be primarily responsible for PwC Hungary’s business development activities in both the Budapest and Győr offices.
