New partner appointments at PwC Hungary from 1 July 2022

PwC Hungary is proud to announce the appointment of two new partners: Anita Sávoly-Hatta and Gábor Halmosi will serve in their new roles in the Assurance service line from 1 July 2022.

Sávoly-Hatta Anita

Anita Sávoly-Hatta (44) joined PwC Hungary in 2003. She studied Accounting and European Business at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs and the Faculty of Business Administration of the Budapest Business School. She also holds an internationally recognised auditing qualification (ACCA). She primarily works with clients in the technology, IT, automotive and pharmaceutical industries, and is also experienced in auditing clients registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission according to IFRS and US GAAP. She is also the driving force behind PwC’s growing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team and the leader responsible for ESG business solutions in Hungary.


Halmosi Gábor

Gábor Halmosi (39) joined PwC Hungary’s Accounting Advisory and the PwC’s Academy team within the Assurance practice in 2011. He obtained his business degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Szeged. He is an IFRS Certified Accountant, a member of the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors, and holds FCCA and CIMA qualifications. His main area of expertise is assisting businesses and groups that prepare their financial statements according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He has played a significant role in preparing the adoption of IFRS in Hungary. Gábor is recognised as one of the foremost Hungarian and international accounting experts. Following his appointment, as part of the Assurance practice, Gábor will lead PwC Hungary’s Accounting Advisory and the Future of Finance team, which also focuses on financial transformation projects. He has been a regular presenter at PwC’s Academy for the past ten years; he is also an avid runner and triathlete.
