Avi is a partner in the PwC Israel Accounting Consulting Services (Israel ACS Group).
Avi joined the Israeli firm in 2004 and has extensive experience and expertise in studying and researching developments in accounting and financial reporting.
In addition, he also closely follows developments in accounting and financial reporting, and shares this knowledge with others in PwC Israel, clients and additional parties.
Avi has considerable experience in reviewing financial statements and prospectuses, including those of companies listed on stock exchanges in the US and Europe. In addition, he has expertise in IFRS, US GAAP and Israeli GAAP.
Avi also serves as a partner in PwC's Global Accounting Consulting Services Group (Global ACS Group), where he sits on the panel that focuses on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The principal functions of the Global ACS Group are to determine PwC’s position on various professional issues, to provide solutions on relevant professional issues, to approve reports before their submission to various authorities throughout the world, to participate in the firm’s knowledge and accumulated experience and to ensure the consistent and equitable application of IFRS within the international firm of PwC.
Avi is A long-standing lecturer in Coller Business School, Department of Accounting at Tel Aviv University.
Avi holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics (with distinction) and a Master of Business Administration. Both degrees were awarded by the Tel-Aviv University.
Avi is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
