Our Awards

This is the second year running that PwC Channel Islands has won the Sustainable Finance, Professional Services award at the Jersey Finance Sustainable Finance Awards. This award goes to the firm which best exemplifies the embedding of environmental, social and governance factors into its business activities. Specific attention has been paid to activities in the financial services space which support the transition to a more sustainable economy, contributing to the allocation of capital that supports long-term environmental and social development goals. However, to demonstrate leadership, firms have also been expected to have a strong culture of corporate social responsibility that shows a commitment to operating as a sustainable business.

PwC shared the Sustainable at Heart Award - This is a new award category for 2023's Jersey Finance Sustainable Finance Awards. This award is designed to recognise the firm that considers sustainability and the environment at heart of what they do. This includes being holistic and comprehensive in their approach to sustainability, and take proactive actions to lower the environmental impact of their business. This also includes significant attempts to reduce their carbon footprint, encouraging and promoting best practices in sustainability, contributing to nature restoration and biodiversity on island and upskilling their workforce.

Indiana Latimer won the Future Individual Influencer Award at 2023's Jersey Finance Sustainable Finance Awards.

This award is also a new category for 2023 and is a single, non-sector specific award that will celebrate a Jersey-based individual within a member firm for driving forward the sustainable finance agenda within their organisation, outside of leadership level.

It is understood that not everyone is currently in a position to influence the flow of capital, however it is still possible to have a meaningful impact on sustainability at a more junior level. This award intends to capture and commend such an individual.

Alison Cambray, Advisory Director, ESG & Net Zero was presented with a Special Recognition award by the panel. Since moving to Jersey in 2010, she has been a driving force behind the sustainable finance agenda locally, consistently acting as a thought leader in the Channel Islands including as a member of Jersey Finance’s Steering Committee for the island’s Sustainable Finance Strategy. Alison has also acted as programme lead for PwC’s role as Strategic Partner for the Government of Jersey’s Future Economy Programme, as well as being a key founding member of the Jersey Sustainability Practitioners Association.

PwC Channel Islands was delighted to have won the Investment Week ‘Innovation in Fund Services Award’ jointly with Northern Trust for their collaborative work on blockchain, audit and technology.
