The annual PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year Competition Final 2022 is scheduled to take place in the concert hall at the new Les Quennevais School in person.

Organised by the Jersey Music Service, this event is celebrating its 30th year and is a firm favourite in the island's annual performing arts' diary and enjoyed by all generations within the local community.

The finalists in this year’s competition include:

  • Wendy Falla Piano Heat Winner - Augustine Stayte
  • Island Music Woodwind Heat Winner – Eve Sproats (Saxophone)
  • Island Music String Heat Winner – Nicholas Lawrenson (Violin)
  • Jersey Premier Brass – Brass Heat Winner – Ivan Sproats (Trumpet)
  • Jersey Vocal Trust – Vocal Heat Winner – Taormina Plummer

Last year's winner, vocalist Charlie Dicker, will be in attendance to perform in the evening. Charlie, only the second vocalist to ever win the coveted title, was only 15 years old when he was crowned the PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year 2021 for his stunning vocal performance.
