As a placement student, you’ll have the unique opportunity to combine real-world experience with professional development. You'll also have the advantage of counting your work experience towards the Institute's three-year time experience requirement, helping you get a head start in your journey to qualification.
PwC, the world’s largest professional services firm, offers unmatched opportunities for university placement students. Whether you're looking to pursue a career in chartered accountancy or tax, you'll thrive in our dynamic and exciting environment.
Our Channel Islands offices in Jersey and Guernsey provide an exceptional foundation for your career. We welcome placement students into our Advisory, Assurance, and Tax teams, where you'll gain hands-on experience with top-tier clients.
As a placement student, you’ll have the opportunity to sit Institute examinations, with the added benefit of your work experience counting towards the Institute’s three-year time requirement. If you return to PwC after graduating, you’ll pick up right where you left off, continuing your training contract without missing a beat.
The Channel Islands offers a client base comparable to major financial hubs like London, with a particular focus on financial services. You’ll work with a wide range of clients, from banks and trust companies to property funds and commercial enterprises.
And it’s not just about work. With a short commute and an even shorter walk to clients—usually 10-15 minutes—life in the Channel Islands offers a work-life balance that’s hard to beat. From miles of sandy beaches and trendy rooftop bars to bustling town centres and hidden coves, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds.
Our Channel Islands offices are globally connected, too. Whether it's colleagues joining us from places like Australia, Bermuda, and Canada or team members heading off to Sydney, Boston, or London on secondment, you’ll find no shortage of international opportunities.
We’re seeking motivated, passionate individuals with strong academic records. You’ll need a minimum of 96 UCAS points and be on track to achieve an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) or above.
