PwC strengthens Channel Islands practice with two new Partner admissions and two new Director promotions
PwC Channel Islands has recently announced a series of headline appointments, with the admission of two new Partners and the promotion of two Directors, further strengthening its senior leadership team and reinforcing the firm's commitment to excellence and innovation across the Islands.
Newly admitted Partners, Evgenia Litvintseva-Demetriou and Ian Tait, sit within the firm’s assurance practice and have both consistently contributed to the continued growth and success of the Channel Islands firm. Both Evgenia and Ian are long-standing members of PwC and bring their own unique expertise, wealth of experience and very strong global network of connections to the Channel Islands partnership team. They will both play a pivotal role in leading and shaping PwC’s strategic direction locally and beyond.
A Fellow of the ICAEW, Evgenia Litvintseva-Demetriou graduated from the Finance Academy in Moscow, where she studied tax and finance. In 2004, Evgenia joined PwC Cyprus where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She relocated with her family to Guernsey in 2015, joining PwC’s assurance practice. Evgenia specialises in audits of asset and wealth management businesses and insurance entities. She is responsible for a diverse portfolio of audits, comprising large engagements with venture capital business, infrastructure funds, private equity investment structures and hedge funds.
With almost two decades of experience within the PwC Network, Ian Tait is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Chartered Accountants Ireland. He specialises in alternative asset management fund assurance services and is PwC’s Real Estate Leader for Jersey, responsible for the growth and development of the firm's real estate services in the local market. Ian brings extensive multijurisdictional experience, servicing regulated and unregulated client structures across a broad range of financial services sectors including real estate, private debt, private equity, hedge fund, banking and capital markets.
Those recently promoted to Director at PwC are Guernsey-based Callum McCutcheon and Irshad Amajee, based in Jersey.
Advisory Director Callum McCutcheon joined the Guernsey office in 2014, after graduating with a Master of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Callum leads PwC’s Data Advisory team across the Channel Islands supporting internal teams and external clients in making the best use of data and technology. In collaboration with PwC in London, he also regularly supports top tier asset managers in defining their data strategies, implementing and operationalising new technology and developing detailed analytics.
Having graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a degree in Accounting and Finance, External Audit Director Irshad Amajee firstly joined PwC South Africa in 2013. He relocated to PwC in Jersey as a Senior Associate in 2016 and within four years progressed to senior manager. Irshad has amassed extensive experience working on a range of audit clients in the private equity, real estate, private debt and hedge fund manager space.

In total, PwC has recently promoted 37 talented individuals across the Channel Islands, with 13 new Senior Managers and a further 20 Managers also reaching significant career milestones in addition to both Partner admissions and Director appointments.
