Hana Insurance Co., Ltd.(formerly The-K Non-Life Insurance Co., Ltd.) is an non-life insurance company offering automobile, fire and life insurance services. The company has a portfolio specializing in auto insurance based of teacher and school faculties and is the 14th largest non-insurance company in Korea in 3rd quarter of 2019.

Hana Financial Group Inc, the buyer, was founded in 2005 as a financial holding company. It has 13 subsidiaries including Hana Bank, Hana financial Investment Co., Ltd.

The PwC Korea Deal 3 team, led byJeong-Seob Han and Gee-Eun Kim, provided financial due diligence and valuation service for Hana Financial Group Inc. and successfully closed the transaction.
