PwC Korea Deal 3 team is pleased to announce the sale of shares in Korea Heat Exchanger Co., Ltd.

Korea Heat Exchanger Co., Ltd., established in 1983, is a manufacturer of heat exchangers used in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and LNG Plants and located in Gunsan, Korea. The company accounted for 15% of Global heat exchanger market share in 2012. However, it suffered from a liquidity crisis and slump in the plant construction industry, and eventually applied for court led reorganization program in September 2019.

Yuil Technology Investment Co., Ltd. acquired shares of Korea Heat Exchanger Co., Ltd. in the deal.

The PwC Korea Deal 3 team, led by Jeong-Seob Han and Byounggoo Sohn, participated as M&A advisor for Korea Heat Exchanger Co., Ltd. on the sale of its equity to the consortium of Yuil Technology Investment Co., Ltd. and successfully closed the transaction.
