PwC advised on the sale of SKINIDEA CO.,LTD

Project Opera involved advisory services for the sale of Skinidea, the owner of the Medipeel brand. The sellers divested 67% of their shares to the global private equity firm Morgan Stanley PE for approximately KRW 150 billion (based on 100% equity value).

This transaction is one of the few recent cases where a global PE firm has invested in a domestic company. Through meticulous pre-sale preparations, we proactively addressed potential deal-breaking factors and met the stringent review conditions set by the global PE firm. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with the sellers and company representatives to devise solutions to issues that arose during negotiations, culminating in a successful sale.
