​Richard currently specializes in the (re)insurance industry and his client base includes a variety of (re)insurance companies including single parent and group captives, segregated portfolio companies, portfolio insurance companies, life and annuity companies. Prior to joining the Cayman Islands firm, Richard worked at the PwC Gibraltar office, providing audit and assurance services to clients from a range of financial and non-financial industries.

​Richard holds a first class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England.  He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) and a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (“CIIPA”). Richard is also an associate member of the Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association ("CIRCA")
