Stephen Bird

Stephen Bird, a partner in the Cayman Islands fund referred reporting engagement group, specialises exclusively in the audit of investment funds. He has more than 20 years of professional experience with PwC in the Cayman Islands and United Kingdom.

Stephen has extensive experience in a variety of hedge fund & private equity structures and strategies and works closely with PwC firms in the world’s major investment management centres. He is a member of the PwC Cayman technical committee and various fund industry working groups, with specific responsibility for alternative investment funds.

Stephen has a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and management studies from the University of Nottingham, England, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants.
