On 14 September 2021, the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission approved the 7th edition of Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (the HC), which is an international basis for the common HS Code EAEU. This will come into force from 1 January 2022.
The new edition of the HC contains more than 350 amendments due to changes in the nature and structure of world trade, global social and environmental issues.
At the same time, the rates of import customs duties of the new version of the ETT EAEU will remain at the current level and fully take into account the World Trade Organization tariff obligations framework.
