The President signed the Constitutional Law on introduction of amendments to certain constitutional laws

On 30 December 2022 the President signed the Constitutional Law No.176-VII “On introduction of amendments to certain constitutional laws” (the “Law”).

In details

In accordance with the Law the following amendments are introduced to:

  • The Constitutional Law “On the judicial system and the status of judges”: the Department for Maintenance of Courts’ Activities of the Supreme Court is transformed into the Judicial Administration with administrative authorities to maintain the courts’ activities. 
  • The Constitutional Law “On the state symbols”: State Enterprise “Government for Citizens” should use the state emblem when carrying out the state registration of acts of civil status and other related state services. 
  • The Constitutional Law “On the Astana International Financial Centre”: the provisions are introduced, stipulating special legal regime for regulation of digital assets.
