Maksimas Saveljevas

Maksimas Saveljevas, head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practice, is an Attorney-at-Law with more than 20 years of practice in transaction legal management.

Maksimas has provided legal services to help customers complete more than 60 transactions. Maksimas assisted Coca-Cola HBC, The Coca-Cola Company, ATEA, AMIC Energy, Gazprom, Marzotto group, Linas Agro Group, Fortum Group and many other clients to successfully complete their M&A transactions in Lithuania and other countries. Maksimas has experience in complex transaction management - starting with privatization and other transactions in Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus and ending with transactions in financial services market players. Apart from M&A, Maksimas is leading the pharma law practice group at PwC Lithuania and is regularly advising clients on complex corporate, labour and regulatory legal issues, as well as B2B transactions, with special emphasis on restructuring exercises and distribution, franchise, long-term supply or wholesale and trade agency arrangements.

Maksimas has over 10 years of experience in PwC. Maksimas also worked at a law firm which is a member of London City network, a network of business services with clients from CIS countries, and in one of the business law market leaders in the Baltic States.

Maksimas has extensive experience in structuring transactions, managing legal due diligence  teams, preparing transaction documentation, representing clients in transaction negotiations and providing all other legal services related to transactions. Maksimas has a unique cross-border experience of managing legal teams and business law projects in Belarus for more than 4 years.
