25 Years in Macedonia

On November 23rd PwC Macedonia has marked the 25th Anniversary of PwC in Macedonia, 25 years of successful, dedicated and socially responsible work on the market.

It was a wonderful night at Makedonska Filharmonija, spent together in the great company of PwC’s clients, friends and team-members.

The magical atmosphere was largely due also to the special guests of the night for the entertainment part, the band Kalevala and Ljubojna, and the host Ognen Janeski.

Digital Transformation is one of the buzz-phrases of the past couple of years, and Mr. Dejan Ljushtina, Southern Cluster Technology, Media and Telecoms Leader devoted a few words on PwC’s focus on going digital, and presenting the global and regional trends in technology, media and digital.

PwC Macedonia has always been striving to be a charitable company putting the stress on positive social changes and corporate social responsibility. The famous local artists, Vane and Meri Kosturanovi were our special guests for the Anniversary, and contributed to our charity auction, centered around their works of art. Most of the funds raised will be donated to build Macedonia’s first Sensory Garden at the Dimitar Vlahov School for sight impaired children in Skopje. This project is realized in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce.

The PwC Global Chairman, Mr. Bob Moritz and the PwC CEO for CEE, Ms. Olga Grygier – Siddons also sent their video-greetings, with a special word of congratulation to Mr. Ljube Gjorgjievski, Country Managing Director and General Manager, for his personal 25th Anniversary in PwC Macedonia. They also wished warm welcome to Mr. Petko Dimitrov, who recently took over the role of a Managing Partner for Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.

Everyone at PwC Macedonia is proud to be part of this 25years long journey, and we are all grateful to all our clients and friends having trust in us. Trust, which we would aim to maintain for many decades ahead.
