Norbert joined PwC Malta in 2007 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) with the University of Malta. He is also a certified Public Accountant with PwC Malta and a fellow member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.

Norbert was admitted into the firm’s partnership in 2022 as an Assurance Partner. With over 10 years of experience in the banking sector and specifically in credit risk management, Norbert is dedicated solely to dealing with the firm’s banking clients and specifically with regulatory matters and the developments that are emerging from the SSM. 

During these years Norbert has led various banking advisory engagements in respect of corporate governance, risk management, and other regulatory related matters including AQRs, ICAAPs, ILAAPs and recovery plans.  He also acted as stress test advisor to one of Malta’s significant banks, and has been involved in various transformation projects with different institutions. Norbert is also actively participating at pan-European level within the PwC network on matters relating to the Banking Union.
