Stefan Bonello, is an Assurance Partner at PwC Malta. Stefan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a fellow member of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA). Stefan has been with the firm since 1997 and acts as an assurance engagement leader on diverse client portfolios including groups of companies and other non-group companies that vary in size and structure. Stefan’s client portfolio has led him to gain experience in the audit of local and foreign-owned companies engaged in various areas of consumer and industrial products and services and within the technology and entertainment sector. Before being admitted to the partnership he also worked in the assurance departments for the PwC practices in Brussels and the UK.

He is also a specialist in management consultancy, internal auditing, business restructuring and corporate services, particularly corporate structures as well as mergers and acquisitions. Over the years, he has also developed considerable experience in investigations and special assignments. He has led a number of prominent assignments, including local financial advisory projects related to corporate restructuring and corporate finance as well as international high-profile assurance assignments in the US. He sits on the firm’s clients and markets, human capital and management consulting boards and acts as the HC partner within the Assurance line of service.
