"The Barometer's results continue to suggest that the level of activity within the local real estate industry has remained strong despite the economic disruption brought about by the pandemic and recent turmoil in Eastern Europe. The industry could be facing new challenges given an unfolding landscape in which the local market is in the process of absorbing the new inflationary forces driven, in part, by international supply chain pressures, which will cascade and dent consumer purchasing power and also increase the cost base of the key stakeholders in the industry."
