Manufacturers around the world are still recovering from the challenges brought about in recent years by the COVID-19 pandemic in relation to their supply chains.

During this unstable period, manufacturers (including local manufacturers) have learnt that having an agile and resilient supply chain is crucial for business operations. To this effect, it is being noted that the market is adopting digital and innovative technologies to strengthen their supply chains in an effort to drive growth, efficiencies and as well to remain competitive, cyber-secure and as well sustainable.

The PwC network recently released a survey “How much is technology transforming supply chains?” The survey was conducted amongst a number of operations and technology leaders as well as other C-suite executives globally.

A summary of the key take-away recommendations of the Survey together with general key recommendations can be accessed here.
