PwC Nigeria Admits 2 New Partners

Lagos, 1 July 2021: PwC Nigeria has announced the admission of two new partners effective July 1, 2021. They are Uloma Ojinmah and Bimbola Banjo, from the firm’s assurance and advisory services respectively.

26 professionals are joining the partnership in PwC Africa. Of these partners, 46% are female, once again demonstrating the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

In his congratulatory message to the new partners, Uyi Akpata, Country Senior Partner PwC Nigeria, said:

“Welcoming these two partners into our leadership team is indicative of our continued success as a firm, especially one that prioritises the growth and development of its people. Both partners have been growing their careers with us for nearly two decades. To see them reach this career milestone is proof of their dedication to excellence. Uloma Ojinmah graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Federal University of Technology Owerri.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and also holds a Diploma in IFRS with the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA). She started her career in PwC as an auditor in the assurance line-of-service and eventually moved to the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS), within the assurance practice.

Ojinmah’s specialty is in delivering assurance services in the Financial Services, and Energy, Utilities, and Mining industries. She is passionate about fashion and music, and likes to travel.

Bimbola Banjo is an engineering graduate from the University of Lagos and holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School. He is the lead, Finance Advisory for PwC in the West Market Area, and has over 17 years’ of experience in providing Assurance and Business Advisory Services to clients in the Energy and Utilities value chain. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); and has an Advanced Management degree from the IESE Business School, Spain.

He has authored a number of energy publications and is a frequent speaker at conferences and TV media on energy issues. He is a dual American Society of Business Publication Editors (ABPE) award winner.

Banjo is blessed with a beautiful wife and 2 gifted children. He is a sports and history enthusiast and an ardent bodybuilder.
