Jan Michael L. Reyes

JM expands the firm’s industry expertise with more than 18 years of solid assurance experience in telecommunication, manufacturing and trading, entertainment and media, healthcare, transportation, logistics and technology. His experience also includes various financial due diligence reviews and initial public offerings.

JM joined the firm as an associate in 2001. He was promoted to the Senior Manager position in 2008 and promoted to Director in 2011. JM was admitted to the partnership in July 2013. He is concurrently Assurance Partner, Family Business Leader and Academe Development Partner.

JM further strengthened his assurance expertise during his two-year secondment in PwC UK’s London office where he was promoted as a manager in July 2006 and managed some of PwC UK’s more complex audit engagements. He continued his international exposure when he attended various PwC-sponsored IFRS and methodology training, industry expertise programs and leadership courses conducted in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macau. He has also participated in PwC global quality reviews conducted in Hyderabad and Mumbai, India, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

JM graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines, Diliman (UP Diliman). In 2010, he further demonstrated leadership and academic excellence when he earned a Masters in Management degree and graduated at the top of his class (with Distinction) from the Asian Institute of Management. JM is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

As a CPA, JM maintains active membership in Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP).

He also served as a teaching fellow of Accounting in UP Diliman’s National College of Public Administration and Governance and UP College of Business Administration’s MBA Program for several semesters.
