PwC Philippines' Makati City office celebrated the Christmas season with the annual firm party on 13 December 2019 at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, Pasay City.
Chairman and Senior Partner Alex Cabrera, along with Tax and Human Capital Partner Roselle Caraig and Risk Assurance-Internal Audit Partner Gett Apostol, handed out the Service Awards for members of the firm who have rendered ten, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service. The 30-year service awardees were Tax Partner Fedna Parallag and Assurance Partner John-John Patrick Lim.
Vice Chairman and Assurance Managing Partner Rick Danao officially started the program, welcoming everyone to the masquerade ball.
Everyone wore their masks and their best attire but two stood out. Risk Assurance-Internal Audit Associate Ricalyn Garife was named the Best Dressed Female of the Night while Assurance A Director Ryan Neeley has been selected as the Best Dressed Male of the Night.
Staff members across various lines of service won the evening's raffle prizes. Photoman photographers took and printed photos as souvenirs for our people, and the GlamShot Infinity by 360 Selfie PH video booth was a treat for those who wanted to share quick videos of their OOTN (outfit of the night) in their social media accounts.
DJ Kouta put the vibe on for the after-party where drinks flowed while dancing. Okada Manila extended free entrance to Cove Manila for PwC people who partied after the after-party.
In attendance were former senior partners Corazon de la Paz-Bernardo and Tammy Lipana. Isla Lipana Foundation Trustees Anjji Gabriel and Edith Tuason joined the current partners, led by Chairman and Senior Partner Alex Cabrera.
This year's committee is headed by Tax Director Mary Jean Balboa, and supported by sub-committee leads who include Consulting Senior Manager Mac Bantay, Risk Assurance-IA Manager Jasper Santiago, Tax Senior Consultant Paul Gecha, and Deals Manager Apple Mutia.
