PwC PH's Risk Assurance-IT team at healthcare info conference

PwC Philippines' Risk Assurance-Information Technology team, led by its partner, Rosell Gomez has actively participated at the Healthcare Information Management Services Conference (HIMSCON PH 2019) on 11 November 2019 at the Peninsula Manila, Makati City. The event is organized by the Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines (HIMAP).

Rosell delivered her presentation entitled "Global Healthcare Outlook". She talked about certain trends that are shaping the landscape of care delivery and health outcomes. These trends – the aging and growing populations, prevalence of chronic diseases, accelerated disruptions in innovation and digital transformation – continue to increase health care demand and expenditures.

She then joined the CXO forum "Challenging the Norm in Healthcare Business Process Management", moderated by HIMAP Chairman Jeff Williams. Rosell, together with three other C-level executives, gave their perspectives in keeping ahead of the game amid technology and skills challenges in the age of HaaS 4.0 (Healthcare-as-a-Service).

RA-IT Director Reggie Roque headed his team in promoting their services at the PwC booth right outside the plenary area.

Every year, the HIMAP holds the Healthcare Information Management Services Conference or HIMSCON, a gathering of HIMS players – Clinical and Documentation Service Providers, Healthcare IT Providers, training institutions, vendors, government stakeholders and the larger business community.
