‘Papa-paint brush’
To teach one’s child is to discover oneself
These carefree children make the most of the moment to take back the hours that were stolen from them by the pandemic.
As they flew their 'boka-boka' kites, I heard them saying:
"Mas mataas lipad ng akin kaysa sa'yo!"
"Hindi, yung akin!"
These children may not be rich, but during that afternoon in Navotas, they found happiness from a few discarded plastic bags and from one thing that belongs to no man – the wind.
