Be grateful for people who take the time to give you ‘me time’

Flordeliza, an eight year-old girl, found her study hub in a standby tricycle under Quiapo Bridge. Her everyday experience proves how gadget-less students in the era of online classes can still find ways to learn. Rumbles caused by the jeepneys and trucks passing over the bridge did not distract her.
"What are you studying?" I asked.
"I'm writing my sister's name because she doesn't know how to spell or write it yet. I am practicing so I can teach her later," she happily replied.
Flordeliza has never physically gone to school, but her dream is to become a teacher.
