‘Papa-paint brush’
To teach one’s child is to discover oneself
The pandemic gave the term “homeschooled” a whole new meaning. With the major shift in the school system’s methods during the pandemic, parents had to take on a bigger role in teaching their children schoolwork at home, more than they did before. They could not afford to leave all the work to the teachers who could only interact with their student-children a few hours a day online.
A wonderful by-product of this additional parental responsibility, nonetheless, was the forging of a stronger bond between parent and child – one that will not easily break.

To teach one’s child is to discover oneself
Be grateful for people who take the time to give you ‘me time’
A loving embrace is more powerful than the simple gift that precedes it
To patronize young merchants is to support their ambition
Parents who play teacher can find new ways to bond with their student-children
A sibling’s love should be cherished for life
Showing your children how you work can give them a good head start in life
Advocate even while young, “but be the change that you want to see”
It’s not the gadget… it’s the student
Don’t let anything get in the way of your studies
Put your faith in God, in all humility, in good times and bad
Planting seeds that make you happy is doubly worth it when it makes other people happy too
Not helping many is no excuse for not helping some
For someone in need, a pack of goods is a pack of hope
Tireless work shows fortitude
For children, it’s amusement; for adults, it’s togetherness
A young person’s kindness and faith can inspire the old
There is simply no excuse these days for not hearing Mass
When in doubt, choose kindness
Never feel sorry that you are your own yaya
