To teach one’s child is to discover oneself
Last November 2020, my cousins and I conducted a donation drive to help areas that had been affected by the widespread flooding caused by Typhoon Ulysses.
Lucky enough, I was able to witness this heart-warming moment we shared with Manang Lita. She was smiling but when we handed her the pack of goods, she held back tears. I asked her what’s the matter and she answered:
“I am just so happy that there are still people who remembered us and who are willing to help us.”

To teach one’s child is to discover oneself
Be grateful for people who take the time to give you ‘me time’
Advocate even while young, “but be the change that you want to see”
To patronize young merchants is to support their ambition
It’s not the gadget… it’s the student
Showing your children how you work can give them a good head start in life
A sibling’s love should be cherished for life
Planting seeds that make you happy is doubly worth it when it makes other people happy too
Not helping many is no excuse for not helping some
A loving embrace is more powerful than the simple gift that precedes it
Parents who play teacher can find new ways to bond with their student-children
Don’t let anything get in the way of your studies
Put your faith in God, in all humility, in good times and bad
Tireless work shows fortitude
For children, it’s amusement; for adults, it’s togetherness
There is simply no excuse these days for not hearing Mass
A young person’s kindness and faith can inspire the old
For someone in need, a pack of goods is a pack of hope
Never feel sorry that you are your own yaya
No gift is more precious than caring for our elderly during their twilight years
