During our family outing in Buruanga, Aklan, while walking along the pilapil (embankment), these siblings caught my attention. They sought shade from the heat of the sun in the middle of the rice field.
“What are you doing there?”
“We’re trying to connect to the internet to attend our online class.”
To teach one’s child is to discover oneself
Be grateful for people who take the time to give you ‘me time’
Not helping many is no excuse for not helping some
Advocate even while young, “but be the change that you want to see”
A loving embrace is more powerful than the simple gift that precedes it
To patronize young merchants is to support their ambition
